The mission of the Local 1360 Young Adults club is to give young workers the opportunity to become young activists. We encourage all young workers to get involved and take advantage of the great things Local 1360 has to offer.

This year we plan to reach out to young workers and train them how to become shop stewards. This will enable them to have powerful voice at their work place and lead by example at the same time. Another way is to take part in our annual scholarship program. We also plan on taking a survey to see what areas of our union they are interested in; whether it's Politics, Walmart or Organizing. We encourage all of you to participate.

Through the great Obama victory, young adults have let their voices be heard and came together to accomplish positive change. 64% of young adults voted for Obama. That's fantastic! We here at Local 1360 recognize this great power as well. After all that's what the word union stands for, by coming together we can stand together and make things happen. Our goal is to build a solid group of young activists who can come together to receive opportunities to better themselves and become a stronger union member.
